4 Year Old Future Learning Information

As part of our professional development we have been looking at how we can implement a well established programme to support learners as they journey through to school. We identify learners as individuals and recognise that each child is on their own pathway.

Together we have researched and created a document that we feel will support us in scaffolding each child’s abilities, skills and dispositions as they prepare for life after their time at TECC.

We encourage parents to look through these as they are informative as well as summative of the skills that will build the synapses in their brains. We want to support parents in understanding that play is a mode for learning for all children and that being happy and safe is the first step towards school readiness.
